These are a few photos of the sculpture work I produced during my junior year, 2011 fall semester.

cement fill's, made from a rubber cast of a bronze sculpture of the " madonna" figure.

wax, plastic and cement beetles, made from a rubber mold. Beetles are adhered to found wood with wire and nails

more of the madonna, more detailed pictures.
the rubber mold took six hours to make..

this piece is six different pieces that are positioned in a space to create one whole form. My plan is to hang and install them in a variety of ways and document the transitions in different settings.

The piece is made of wire and hand made paper, it is meant to be installed under harsh lighting to create definite shadows that allow another dimension to enter this piece.

rusting is occurring because of the wire under the paper, hopefully the rust keeps coming, I am liking it.

I am finished with my 2011 Fall semester as a Junior

I have LEARNED SO MUCH this semester, dealing with color paints mold making and the intaglio process. The body of work that I have produced shows that I was really involved with what I was creating and It feels good to look back on all of my accomplishments. I was also involved in a magazine issued by my school, Montserrat College of Art. The Magazine is called portfolio, The section I was featured in is called " Launching Careers". I was interviewed about my Internship that I had completed this summer, the Magazine tells a little bit about my experience. OVERALL it was a exciting semester for me and I am excited for next semester.

The link below is for the portfolio magazine.
